CreaZyme RTU - 1

           Neutral Cellulase for Jeans

CreaZyme RTU-1 is a neutral cellulase preparation produced using a genetically engineered strain. The preparation is efficient in the modification of cellulosic material and especially suitable for the finishing process of cellulosic fabrics.

CreaZyme RTU-1 is an off-white powder, and is easily miscible in water

APPLICATION

CreaZyme RTU-1 is a ready-to-use product, which contains buffer and anti-backstaining system, and offers outstanding efficiency and benefits for denim washing:

-          high contrast

-          Low indigo back-staining

-          Wide pH range and easy to use.

The preferred process conditions for the product in the biofinishing are:

- Enzyme dose         1～3% of garment weight

- Liquid ratio          5～10

- pH of washing water   6~7.5

- Temperature          20～60℃

- Treatment time        20～90 min

PH of the washing water should be checked and adjusted if necessary by buffering salts, e.g. citrate-phosphate or phosphate buffers. The buffer system will maintain the pH in the targeted range during washing.

ENZYME INACTIVATION

Inactivation of the enzyme must be carried out after the treatment. Insufficient inactivation can result in extended exposure of the garment or fabric to active cellulase, which will cause undesirable strength loss. Alkaline rinse by raising the pH to ＞10 for 10 minutes or use of bleaching agents can be used to inactivate the enzyme reaction.

PACKAGING

CreaZyme RTU-1 is available in standard package of 40 kg fiber drum.

STORAGE

The product should be kept in cool, dark and dry place with temperature below25℃without direct sunlight. The activity will decrease less than 10% of the declared activity within 6 months when kept under25℃in the original sealed container.

SAFETY & HANDLING

The product is formulated for textile processes and cannot be used in feed and food industries.

Inhalation of enzyme dust and mists should be avoided. In case of contact with the skin or eyes, promptly rinse with water for at least 15 minutes.
